Positive: We had the most wonderful time at this beautiful inn set in stunning surroundings and gardens. On our holiday this was the only place where we actually met and interacted with the owners , Doug and Jim. Our room was comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. Lovely leather chairs and decor. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. We were invited to the cheese and wine evening and it was great. Lovely wines and cheeses and a great way to meet other guests. We so enjoyed the piano and a few songs from Doug. Breakfast was a feast .. fruit, yogurts , eggs . Delicious and a different menu each morning. Home baked cakes .. yummy. Saturday we sat in the gardens and enjoyed a lovely afternoon of music , it was so nice to see locals join the afternoon too. We wish we could have stayed longer.. Doug and Jim you run a beautiful Inn, your commitment and hard-work tells the story. Thank you!

Positive: We received a very warm welcome on arrival, with a tour of the premises and great service at breakfast. Lots of parking and also places to chill outside under beautiful trees. The pool was lovely and warm. Nice touch of a free night cap tray in the lounge and communal kitchen for cups of tea and coffee throughout the day. Would stay there again in a heartbeat!
Negative: No complaints at all.
Summary: The Devonfield Inn is a real gem in The Berkshires - perfect base for exploring!

Positive: Everything ... The place is absolutely beautiful, Doug and Jim are the perfect B&B hosts (as warm, friendly, welcoming and professional as they come.) Jim's breakfasts are amazing and unique. We stayed in room #9 - all the way upstairs - and it was just outstanding in every way. We will definitely be back and will be recommending Devonfield to our friends. It is everything a B&B should be but few live up to or surpass expectations like they do.
Negative: Being very honest here ...there is nothing we didn't like.
